Course Objectives
This course is to engage students to explore the fundamentals of digital media that is a generic term for multimedia; to develop the capability of learning and participation of the field for further oversea study; and to initiate the potential of leading a multimedia project as a graduate students who are expected to be.
Issues covered of the course include technical features and organizational perspectives as well. The course is designated to provide a compact profile of elements, equipment and tools for multimedia. We will also discuss the current impact and future trend.
This course will satisfy the international and cross-cultural depth study requirement under the Saginaw Valley State University. In order to meet this goal, the instructor will devote extra instruction on increasing effective communication by real and live American English.
Students will be assigned into one of three virtue projects during the course. The projects consist of four procedures that are product planning, analysis and design, presentation of the ideas, comment and discussion. Each one will work on one of these procedures.
